Privacy Policy
What information SkillVault collects, why it is needed, and how buyers can request access or deletion.
Information we collect
SkillVault collects only information needed to operate the marketplace, complete purchases, prevent abuse, and deliver digital products. This may include the buyer's email address, order identifier, item purchased, amount, payment status, entitlement record, download history, and support correspondence.
Technical logs may include IP address, browser type, request time, error details, and security events. If Google sign-in is enabled later, we may receive the verified Google account identifier, email address, and display name that the buyer chooses to share.
Payments and sensitive credentials
Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI PINs, banking passwords, and one-time codes do not pass through or remain on our servers. Razorpay sends us limited payment references and status information so we can verify an order and grant access.
We use Microsoft Azure to host the application, store operational records, protect secrets, monitor reliability, and deliver files. These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy obligations.
How information is used
Information is used to create and verify orders, grant and restore entitlements, deliver receipts and download links, answer support requests, detect fraud, diagnose incidents, measure product performance, comply with lawful obligations, and defend payment disputes.
We do not sell personal information. Marketing email will not be sent without an appropriate consent basis, and transactional messages will be limited to purchases, access, security, and support.
Retention, security, and your choices
Order and entitlement records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide re-download access, support accounting obligations, prevent duplicate grants, and respond to disputes. Operational logs are retained for shorter diagnostic periods unless a security incident requires preservation.
Requests to access, correct, or delete information can be sent to skillvault44@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained where law, tax, fraud prevention, or dispute handling requires it. This mailbox is monitored for purchase, delivery, privacy, and security support.
